There’s so much going on between today, Sunday, September 8, 2013, and Saturday, September 14!

The 2nd Annual Mazama Festival of Books continues today at the Mazama Community Center in Mazama, Washington.

This afternoon at 4:00pm, Sheila Sondik reads from her new chapbook, Fishing a Familiar Pond, in the Readings Gallery, downstairs at Village Books in Bellingham.

Tuesday, September 10 at 6:00pm, join the VB Writes speculative fiction / science fiction drop-in writing group at Village Books.

Wednesday, September 11 at 7:00pm, poets Richard Widerkher and Sheila Nickerson read their poetry at Village Books.

Also on Wednesday, September 11 at 7:00pm, featured poet Jennifer Bullis will read from her new book, Impossible Lessons, followed by an open mic, at the Chuckanut Sandstone Writers Theater at the Firehouse Café in Bellingham.

Also on Wednesday, September 11 at 7:00pm, ROCKiT Community Arts sponsors Beacon Bards with featured poets Amber Flame and Anastasia Tolbert followed by an open mic at The Station Bistro, on Beacon Hill in Seattle.

Thursday, September 12 at 6:00pm, it’s the VB Writes Fiction Writing Group at Village Books.

Also on Thursday, September 12 at 6:00pm, It’s About Time Writers Reading Series presents Judith Roche, Sarah Zale, Laura Gamache and Shin Yu Pal, plus an open mic at the Ballard Branch of the Seattle Public Library.

Also on Thursday, September 12 at 7:00pm, The Northwind Reading Series presents a reading by Laurence Cole and Bill Mawhinney at the Northwind Arts Center in Port Townsend.

Friday, September 13 at 7:00pm, The Distinguished Writer Series presents poet Christine Swanberg plus an open mic at King’s Books in Tacoma.

Saturday, September 14, Noon-4:00pm, it’s Books & Brews, the first annual bookfest presented by Whatcom Writers & Publishers at Boundary Bay Brewery in Bellingham.
