poems in hand

Joan Logghe poemholder

Joan Logghe, past Poet Laureate of Santa Fe and winner of a National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship, Witter Bynner Foundation for Poetry Grants, A Mabel Dodge Luhan Internship, and a Barbara Deming/Money for Women grant — among numerous other achievements — calls her small fabric constructions PoemHolders. They combine her “love of quilts and her secret mission to sneak poetry into everyday life.”

A worthwhile mission.

Thanks to Susan J. Erickson for the heads-up.
