Poets in the Park

Mark your calendar for Saturday, June 20, 2015, and spend the day celebrating poetry at Anderson Park in Redmond. The FREE day-long Poets in the Park will include readings, workshops, vendors, installations, picnic-related activities, and a book fair. Along with headline poet Karen Finneyfrock, there will be group poetry readings by about 100 poets from Black Heron Press, Cascade College Poetry Students, Cowboy Poets, Crab Creek Review, Egress Studio Press, Farmer Poets, Haiku Northwest, Jack Straw Writers, LitFUSE, MoonPath Press, Northwest Institute of Literary Arts, Poetry Northwest, Pongo Teen Writing, Puget Sound Poetry Connection, Raven Chronicles, Redmond Association of Spokenword, Rose Alley Press, Seattle Poets Society, Striped Water, Two Sylvias Press, and more!

Poets in the Park is produced by Redmond Poet Laureate Michael Dylan Welch and the City of Redmond Arts Program, in partnership with Redmond Association of Spokenword (RASP), with support from 4Culture and Poets & Writers, Inc.

Enjoy the very long day before the solstice with a celebration of words.
