outlaw poetry

March 5, 2019

In case you missed this fascinating bit of news, it seems that Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow took time from their outlawing to write poetry. Their 1933 notebook full of poems, along with some related material, will go on the auction block in April 2019 at Heritage Auctions in Dallas. While Heritage believes the material to be genuine writings by Bonnie and Clyde, they say the evidence is, thus far, “not conclusive enough for us to definitively authenticate the handwriting.” They are continuing to seek authentication. Read all about it on the Heritage Auctions site.
