National Poetry Day

Today, Thursday, October 6, 2022, is National Poetry Day in the UK. To join the festivities, have a listen to the brand new Seren Poetry Podcast launched by Seren Books to celebrate the poets and poetry of Wales. Nine weekly interviews will include readings as well as conversation about inspiration and craft. Dear Poetry is a brand-new poetry podcast series by Luisa Beck that is an advice column that turns to poems for answers to callers’ questions. More on Dear Poetry on NPR.
Close Readings is a podcast series from the London Review of Books in which “Seamus Perry and Mark Ford discuss the lives and works of 20th-century poets through the lens of pieces written about them in the LRB, and Irina Dumitrescu and Mary Wellesley consider the lives and voices of women in medieval literature.”
