Norman L Green and Threshold Documents have supported the poetry community in immeasurable ways, including, among many other things, co-editing and printing Clover: A Literary Rag, and the annual chapbooks and anthologies for the Sue C. Boynton Poetry Contest.

Norman has midwifed innumerable books, and on Wednesday, January 9, 2019, he will be the guest speaker at the monthly dinner meeting of Whatcom Writers & Publishers at Nicki’s Bella Marina in Bellingham. Show him some love. The details are here. RSVPs are required.

Prize-winning author of sixteen novels, Laura Kalpakian will be the guest speaker for the Whatcom Writers and Publishers May dinner meeting, Wednesday, May 10, 2017. Her topic: How to give a reading. When you’ve finished your visit to the Bellingham Farmers Market on Saturday, walk right across the street to Boundary Bay Brewery and pay a visit to Books & Brews. Sponsored by Whatcom Writers and Publishers and Chanticleer Book Reviews and Media, this first-annual gathering promises a meet-and-greet with local authors and publishers as well as door prizes and a selection of signature Boundary Bay brews and brats. Admission is free.
