Should you find yourself in New York between now and August 21, stroll through the New York Botanical Garden and revel in Spanish Paradise: Gardens of the Alhambra, including the Poetry Walk: “In the gardens surrounding the Conservatory, sixteen poetry boards present Federico García Lorca’s poems, many of them referencing plants, flowers, and gardens, taking visitors through some of the most beautiful Garden collections during the spring and summer seasons.”

On Saturday, August 20, the Poetry Society of America presents the My Lorca Poetry Series, in which American poets read their favorite Federico García Lorca poems and discuss the poet’s influence on their own work.
